author-meets-critics, or otherspecial sessions. Papers and proposals from 
traditionally underrepresentedgroups (including women, racial minorities, and 
persons with disabilities,among others) are encouraged. We welcome volunteers 
to serve as session chairsand commentators.  To submit a paper orpanel proposal 
for consideration you must be a member of the American Societyfor Aesthetics, 
and if your paper is accepted you must register for theconference. You can join 
ASA on-line: http://aesthetics-online.org.Papers should not exceed 3,000 words, 
should be accompanied by a 100-wordabstract, and must be prepared for blind 
review. Panel proposals should includea general description of the topic or 
theme, along with the names andaffiliations of all proposed participants and 
brief abstracts of all papers.
