Mando -- I'll look into it. Two of your messages are being archived as by
'Armando Baeza'. But I know you've sent more than two since March 18.
Meantime, for all listers, a few tips: Near the top of the window, on the
left , you'll see the word 'thread' and 'date'. Their function is obvious, but
you might not at first notice them.
Alexei has pointed out Databack cannot (yet) handle accent-marks on
non-English words. They come out as reformated gobbly-gook.
I've learned Databack also can't handle "smart quotes", sometimes known as
"curly quotes". If keyboard a message in Word, and then copy, paste, and send
it, I have to make sure I disable the "smart quotes" before keyboarding.
Otherwise more gobbly gook.
Yet more if I end a line with dot-dot-dot, the way one does to suggest the
sentence goes on but is being truncated here.
And I'm also working to get some tips from Databack about how to avoid the
chaotic line-breaks when I send a posting pasted from Word. Kate, the expert,
gets back on April 2.
