I don't dismiss Kinkade.  He's in some hack work field
but it's not an art profession so he's not relevant to
any art/aesthetic issue.  Maybe he's in the "cute and
mawkish"  business like the majority of those who
wallow in popular culture for money.  I do dismiss a
lot of stuff that purports to be art but is instead
nothing but pop culture clutter for emptyheads. Just
because many people make pictures doesn't make them
artists.  Just because all people defacate doesn't
make them organic farmers. Frankly, I don't know what
makes some people artists but I'm certain Kinkade
ain't one of them.  Maybe he's trying to be an 
organic farmer.
