Art appreciation does seem to be something that's often passed down through generations -- although Miller Sr. jump-started his own -- i.e. his parents' idea of beauty would have been a field of healthy corn or a simple, clean country church.
He seems to have picked it up at college -- although he would have been quick to remind you that it was an unaccredited college at that time (Olivet, Michigan) -- and many of it's teachers held no degrees -- including the teacher who made him a sculptor, Milton Horn, who never graduated high school. ____________________________________________________________ Sweepstakes!!!
