Not long ago, A group of European scientists were using a lead sheet as a
shield to intercept harmful radiations from some gizmo. One day they
discovered
the bombardment with particles had changed the atomic number and mass of the
lead. "It IS now gold!" they cried, with an alchemists fiendish gleam.
"Watchoo
mean it's now gold?" "Look: it's atomic number is now 79 (etc), and the damn
stuff is now sorta yellow! What the hell do you think gold IS?" Since I know
you're a smarty-pants, Michael, I assume you get my "meaning".
