Since I am being hounded off the forum in a very ruthless and condescending manner (and fear of challenge, I believe), I wish to invite any listers who may be in Chicago between January and March to visit my retrospective exhibition (William Conger Paintings 1958-2008) at the Chicago Cultural Center (top floor main exhibit gallery). This exhibition will include more than 60 paintings drawn from museums and collections nationwide and will be accompanied by a major catalog and essay by Donald Kuspit. During the same months, there will be a one person show of my new paintings (2008) at the Roy Boyd Gallery in Chicago. I also invite listers to read my essay on Trotsky and Breton in Prompt, new peer reviewed new Journal of art.
