There is no "our judgment": there is only your judgment, my
judgment, and other individuals' judgments. Even collective
assessments are not, per se, group judgments. The jury returns a
verdict, which is the sum of their individual judgments of guilt or
innocence. The audience, as an abstraction, might "like" or
"dislike" the movie, but that statement means that a greater
proportion of individuals liked or disliked the movie.
It's the same reason that the reputations of people go up and down
overtime: the proportion of individuals who judge Shakespeare's
works good or not good rises and falls, as did the judgments of
Michelangelo's works, and Bouguereau's, and all the others, too.
