When I was sculpturing for all the toy companies , being well paid,
and using my talent to
do their will, i was compromising my "being" to the extent that i
felt i was being used.
But it was putting food on the table and a smile on my family,I love
making "my" toys.
Probably some of those German sculptors during that time felt the
same anguish.
It kept them out of the war and a smile on their families. Sculptors
love making sculpture.
