Yes, I finally met Mr. Conger - and it was quite gracious of him to talk about things that might interest me instead of his life's work that was up on the walls around us. (Especially gracious considering our long history of head knocking. Has it been ten years already ?) Perhaps he was a bit under the weather -- but his eyes had a certain cold, determined, tired look about them -- like a hunter who's been out in the woods a little too long.
