 I said "cute" was limited in its resources. I also said that that the
thing has within it its own aesthetic which is pretty much what you said. You
shouldn't begin with the aesthetic of your choice, you should begin with the
thing. I have not   got your experience with Catholic grammar schools but I
don't think I have stated a rule for content"s representation determined by
social propriety.
