Now I confess I don't know what you're after. It sounds like you assume the universe had a beginning, and maybe you believe a god created it, and you wonder why he allowed error, or something. You mentioned this had important implications for art. Maybe you could convey a more serviceable idea of what you are about if you could give what you see as examples of how something call the "first cause" affects "art".
