Hmm, I've been using it for years and never have run into any limitation
problems. Even when there's a loose power cable somewhere and 100 SMS
alerts come through in a couple minutes. The last couple days have not
been heavy on alerts. Just this afternoon I got an SMS at 2pm, missed
one at 2:18 and got one at 2:26. All show they were delivered from the
SMTP Side.

Usually Verizon and other providers limit that function to a small amount of

Subject: [AFMUG] OT: Verizon Email to SMS Gateway failures
Over the last couple days I've had alerts failing to be delivered to my cell
phone. I'm using the [email protected] gateway. My mailserver shows that from
the SMTP Side they have been sent and accepted, but the SMS never comes
through. I notice it when storms roll through, and I get an alert that a UPS
returned from battery or Low Voltage, but I didn't get the alert that it
initially went to battery or Low Voltage, or Vice Versa. It doesn't happen all
the time, so I can't find any rhyme or reason to it. The Storms we just had
roll through today it seems like I got all the alerts. Does anyone else use
that gateway and have missing SMS messages?
Nate
