I have and am currently working on projects to locate equipment in VZ COs in PA. Some probably near where you are located. The do everything in their power to make it difficult and that is probably putting it mildly.

Cost is very hard to come with yes they have basic rates for space and power. The real cost is in getting your equipment powered and installed as well as any fiber or cable you want run to the outside. This all has to be done be their union crew and you pay for it. The only power available is DC and you have to pay for them to build it to your fuse panel. All equipment will be installed by their install crew has to either be on their approved list or you have to go through a lengthy approval process.

Yes you will have to be a CLEC if you are not they will just ignore your request and may even if you are. In this process you need to expect it to take 1-2 years not months to complete.

Hello,
Has anyone here successfully co-loed DSLAM equipment with Verizon in any
of their remote COs?

I believe you have to become a CLEC to do that correct?  What kind of
rates and how hard was it to interconnect to their phone lines?
