Brand-X only affected cable companies.

The triennial review in 2003\2004 only affected you being able to get partial
loops (say only for DSL).

Nothing (yet) stopping CLECs from everything else they've been able to do.

10 years ago, not 18 years ago. Or less.

Yes, you can still colo and UNEs are still available.

I have been a CLEC, I no longer see any value to the extra burden of
regulation.
I don't think there is legal requirement to be a CLEC to colo in any place.
However, back in the day they could not refuse you if you were a CLEC. But
the FCC killed DSL for non facilities based providers probably 18 years ago.
I don't remember the order but it was something like the cablevision order.

I don't know if the rights of a CLEC forcing their way into the colo room
got eliminated as part of that order or not.

Is anyone here registered as a CLEC and co-loing with Verizon in their COs?

Are you able to colo in their remote COs? How hard is/was it to connect
to their copper in the COs to provider DSL service?

How responsive were they to fixing copper issues on the copper plant
between the CO and the customer?
