Hi All,
Thanks, I think I've narrowed it down to a bad copper ethernet port on a
new unit. Putting in an SFP causes traffic to pass fine. (Swapped the
POE/cables to verify, same behavior on the slave side). Support folks
seem to think may still be software related but worth knowing if you
encounter the same issue on your equipment ever. Symptoms were RF link
working/management working, lan showing good link but no data passing.

IgniteNet just did this for us. We are deploying bunches of it.

Hi All,
Was wondering if anyone was using any IgniteNet MetroLinq 2.5G 60
PTP's
in the lab/field. We decided to trial a pair of them and while I can
pass management traffic no LAN traffic is passing at all. Not doing
anything special at all, just some vlan tagged standard ethernet
stuff.
Done all the dumb checking (slave end test device into the master
side's
switch port, verified everything works fine, put the MetroLinq's
in the
mix and then nothing from the slave end's LAN comes out master end to
the switch)
IgniteNet support has had the ticket for 8 days without any
cause/really
helpful response so I'm wondering if anyone has had any of these
actually function in the lab/field yet?
