I've tried a few different methods for my kids and customers over the years.

Most content filtering routers with rules are too slow for my service so I
eventually just gave up on that idea.
Went through several startups that sent me devices etc.

I just use Qustodio software now. It's a yearly fee for several devices.
I control each kid on each device, even down to the profile level they log on
with.

It's relatively simple app that works on computers, phones, pads etc.
One subscription to rule them all!

Of course my oldest son figured out ways to defeat it because I wasn't careful
enough with the lock downs and just got sick of chasing the tail.
So I took his phone away until he was 18 and went and bought his own phone.

But I digress.

Calix has some great tools if you are using their routers.
You can always send them to filtered DNS.

Hi;

What are some of the tools or resources either as a WISP or parent does
one use to control / monitor children's access to content or devices?

Do you find a request from parents on whether you have a service to do
content filtering? If so, what do you tend to do? Or, do you just
block certain websites and content by default from being accessed.

Regards,

Lincoln
