7/16" is pretty stout. Toneable is a must. We have a 500' 1/4"
one, and we wish it was toneable all the time...we currently pull
back detectable (toneable) muletape when we get a call to mark
empty duct.

Generally when I have been rodding it has been for shorter
distances.
But sometime you have to go a long distance. I personally
