I never try and pour out of a container anymore.   I use this and leave 
one in each vehicle that I need to transfer fuel to.  I put one battery 
backwards until I need to use it to keep if from accidentally flicking on.

Surprising how fast it fills a tank.  And I don't get gas everywhere and fill 
the tanks right to the top.
