I am a bit of a snob. I generally don’t go skiing unless: 1 It had a decent storm yesterday. 2 It is a cloudless blue sky today. 3 Today is a M-F day preferably Tuesday. 4 I am up there and first in line to beat the hungover snowboarders

Snowbird is probably my fourth favorite place in the country. I fell in love with it in the early 90s but when I lived in salt lake for a couple years for 99-01 I skied there often, but usually I hit Alta. My personal favorites are Jackson Hole, then Alta, Taos, and Snowbird. Sorry, CO, but I like smaller crowds and cheaper tickets, and of course that epic Utah powder.
