Ok great.  I just wasn't sure if there was something special about phone headsets.

My desk phone has a 2.5mm jack for a headset.

Is it likely that I can just get a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter and use the same 
earbud headset that I use with my cell phone?  That's like a $1 solution 
instead of actually buying a headset.
