I'd probably just walk away. There's no reason they can't virtualize, they're 
just a stick in the mud and not worth the hassle.

KVM is largely unnecessary anymore. VMs or containers replace most physical 
machines and DRAC, IP-KVM, etc. replace the need to KVM the hosts.
