pure Grandstream instead of the Asterisk box.

Aastra got acquired by Mitel so no telling what the future looks like
for those devices.
I only suggest it as it will hopefully be far more plug and play than
your current setup.

If there is no NAT, I don't see why that would be an issue. Which
Asterisk system are you using? We have zero
issues with Grandstream when everything is behind the firewall. There
can be issues with some routers/firewalls
(like SonicWall) but never when they are both on the LAN.
