Living the rich life, don't need to do it all the time, but getting to do it a couple of times in your life keeps you grounded in what's important...

Monaco is best seen by the double decker tour bus I think.
Tore a hole in the rented Mercedes on some concrete blocks on the side of the check-in area of the Monaco Marriott.  Arrgh.  Below the headlight.  Whole front end will have to be replaced.  I did get the insurance at Hertz this time.  First time I ever bought the extra insurance. Still $1500 deductable.  Probably a $5K repair.  Not sure what to expect when I return the car.  First time I have ever damaged a rental. Staying at the fanciest hotel in Monte Carlo this evening.  More of a lifetime bragging rights thing than anything else.  We are literally next door to the original casino.  Michelin 3 star restaurant here.  I have never eaten at any star Michelin anything before.  I did not bring a suit coat.  They don’t want to let me in without one, they are checking with housekeeping to see if they have one I can borrow.  Again, a once in a lifetime bragging rights thing. This is a very uncomfortable level of posh for me.  My standards are one step above Motel 6... Still surprisingly easy to drive around here.  Good GPS but it is intuitive.  Narrow streets (with angry concrete blocks in some areas).  That bus driver was crazy good, making hard left turns inside a tunnel that seemed to tight for a VW bug. Sunday has most commercial places closed.  I was going to try to buy a blazer so I could eat a $150/plate meal tonight...  (I am a $2 taco cart type of guy.  ) Good gyros down in the carnival area.  They had a southwest saracha type of sauce.  No greek sauce of any type.  But it was very yummy.
