So you're not talking about adjustable firmness like Sleep Number, but raise or lower head, knees, feet, etc. like a hospital bed?
Wow, I'd be scared to commit to one without actually being able to try one out. Not just 10 minutes in the store, actually sleep on it for a week. Like paint, you can't tell until you paint a wall and then I usually go that doesn't look like I expected from the little sample. They sell all sorts of special pillows for various parts of the body, you've tried that approach? It almost sounds more customizable than a hinged bed. My experience trying to adjust hospital beds for patients is nothing seems to work. More crinkly than feathers, but mad gangsta. On 11/19/2019 3:03 PM, ch...@wbmfg.com <mailto:ch...@wbmfg.com> wrote: I fall in to youtube hell on a regular basis. Cat videos, especially catnip intoxication are fun indeed. I slept on a huge sack of feathers as a kid. Was not much fun. Neither was the outhouse up the hill out the back door. Or scooping the dead rats, mice and squirrels off the top of the cistern water. Might be easier on the billfold. A gathered end hammock is $30. Just need a couple steel rings on the wall to hang it on. Adjust your back by adjusting your angle in the hammock. Lay longitudinally to be a banana, or lay diagonal to be flat. I have no answer to your actual question though as I've never had an adjustable bed. This is the INTERNET man. We don't do information here; we do trolling, porn, and cat videos. On 11/19/2019 2:45 PM, ch...@wbmfg.com <mailto:ch...@wbmfg.com> wrote: Howz this for off topic... My wife is pushing to get one of those beds where each side has motorized positions etc. She is a bit crippled and always has been. Severe scoliosis that was partially treated by full spinal decompression, 14 lag screws and herrington rods about 20 years ago. So, I gotta do what I can to help her feel comfortable. Just seems like beds and mattresses are always a bit of a scam. I feel ripped off every time I have ever gone into a mattress store. Similar to a car lot. I understand the motorized mechanism is separate from the mattress and I think you may be able to fit most mattresses to the automation layer. Anyone one one of these things that can comment? This is probably going to hurt my billfold.... _____ -- AF mailing list AF@af.afmug.com <mailto:AF@af.afmug.com> http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com
