The overall concept is pleasantly nostalgic. Reminds me of the original
Compaq portable or the Commodore 64 portable.
If I needed a computer for my post-apocalypse kit I think I'd get a
regular laptop and a water proof bag. If it has to be a Rasberry Pi for
some reason then I guess this is a good way to do it. If you follow the
link to his older version of the project he says it's intended purpose
is to "run motor controllers for a solar tracker". Is that a Rasberry
Pi specific application?
