Well that’s good, but also kind of bad. The M in SNMP stands for management, so it really should have been shut off. Maybe Cambium thinks it’s like the M in SPAM and it stands for Sizzle Pork And Mmmm.

It will save through version changed, that manage from both is one of those settings, after having done just that enough times On Wed, Dec 4, 2019 at 1:15 PM Nate Burke <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > wrote: I did use the 'test settings' function on the EPMP when I disabled the Ethernet, so it came back up after a couple minutes. I did however forget to check 'manage via Ethernet and Wireless' on the radio I made the new AP before I rebooted it, so I can't get into it anymore. So at least it's working again, I just lost management to the far radio, since it's now in AP mode. I tried from the CLI, and it greyed out all the ethernet options in the GUI, but the radio still showed the LAN as up. On 12/4/2019 9:50 AM, Steve Jones wrote: This is on a gps 2.4. It would make sense to not be able to disable the ethernet on an AP as it would be inaccessible Here are some configs to dick with "mgmtIFEnable": "0", "networkLanEnabled": "1", "networkLan2Enabled": "1", probably "networkLanEnabled": "0", would disable the port Thats if you download the json, edit it and upload it, or push it from cnmaestro. I dont know the syntax for CLI On Wed, Dec 4, 2019 at 9:01 AM Nate Burke <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > wrote: Thanks! I'm upgrading the firmware now, the radio was on 3.5.1 Ok, ready to pull my hair out now. Radios were on 3.5.1, just upgraded to 3.5.6. The 2.4 SM (nonGPS), has the option to disable the Ethernet port, but the 2.4ap (nonGPS) does not have that option. If the Radio is set as an AP, does that option go away? AP Radio (EPMP1000 NonGPS) SM Radio (EPMP1000 NonGPS) It's an interesting setup, CustomerA provides POE and is connected via Ethernet to the 2.4 radio. The Aux Port of the 2.4 radio powers a 5ghz Feed radio. Customer B connects via RF to the 2.4 radio. CustomerA isn't paying their bill, so I need to turn them off. CustomerB owns the house of CustomerA, so I'm not worried about them getting pissed off and unplugging it, as CustomerB can just go plug it in again. If that option isn't there on yours, what about disabling the switch port at the bottom or just unplugging it at the bottom? You can Disable the Aux port, but there isn't a setting to disable the Primary port. I need to kill the traffic on the port that is providing the POE, but leave the aux port active. -- AF mailing list [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com -- AF mailing list [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com -- AF mailing list [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com
