The best sports better in the world ( on 60 minutes in the 90's ) said he would rather sports bet than play the market. Better returns and less inside trading...

Stock market has tow approaches:

Set and forget - and in the long run you’ll make money.
Or buy and sell often and aggressively make more money if you do it right (or lose a lot of money) if you do it wrong.
I was talking to one of our own who is no longer in the industry, the other day, who told me he made around $500 in about 15 minutes of the stock market opening doing his day trading.

Sometimes it goes up. Sometimes it goes down. Even in the short term though on 
a mediocre run you can easily make $1,000/week on $50k.
