Try a local wildlife rehabber group. These are often volunteers, so
it's more of a passion than a paycheck. They also likely have good
contacts with the state DNR as they usually need licenses to do rehab.
That's what it's like in Ohio, anyway. Not really sure about Indy.

Like Jaime said, eye or face protection would be good. Thick
"gauntlet" gloves that go up to your elbow would be better.

You're probably out of luck, though.
