And for further clarification, you have to power it up with the default plug in 
place.  That also defaults the password.  You can log in, make changes, and 
save them.  Otherwise the unit is not permanently defaulted, you can remove the 
default plug and reboot and everything is back to the way it was.

At one time one of them (AP/SM) was 1.1 and the other was 1.2.
Can't remember which or even what, but recall always checking both IP when
"looking".
