We use the armored FS patch from NID to ONT too.

I'm not sure what hardware they use to install it, but I believe it's some variety of Telecrafter flex clip.  The idea was to cut down on issues with the customer damaging the indoor section of patch cable, and I'm told it has met that goal.

If the FS is tough enough to run from the NID to the biscuit and withstand staples, tight bends and UV then it sounds pretty good.  But I really like the little metal bullet end on the pre terminated Miniflex.  Easy to push through a wall etc.

FS armored patch is different then clearfield pushable.  FS has a 900um loose inside a metal spiral with a PVC jacket.  CFD pushable has a 900um in gel inside a thick plastic jacket.  You can't really push the FS with connectors on it, or at all really.  The FS is much more flexible and doesn't kink like CFD pushable but you can't push it.  I don't like CFD pushable outside of microduct. Too easy to mess up and there are better fibers for the application.

Well,   I have managed to put a staple through it if that counts
:-)   If you don’t shoot the staple right through it it works fine
    - I just had bad aim.   And for what it’s worth the cable still
worked.   It’s at my house so I’m not too worried about it.
Hopefully our install crew uses a little more care.
It’s relatively stiff but it’s not like the Clearfield or other
brands of pushable fiber that have a very minimal diameter
protected stub at the end that you then assemble the SC connector
to after pushing it in.   You can get the movable part of the SC
connector to pop off but you still have the full square end of the
SC to deal with - it won’t go through most microduct, but you can
get it through the normal drill size you shove CAT-5 cable though.

Will this FS stuff take a staple and can you push it through

I fhink you preterminated indoor jumper cost is too high.   These
    https://www.fs.com/c/armored-patch-cables-220 work fine for the
inside wiring from the outdoor box to the wall plate or direct to
CPE if you are not doing a inside jack.  They are not UV rated so
you have to make sure you don’t leave them exposed outdoor.   You
can pop the outer SC portion off the jumper if you want to pass
    through a smaller hole.
