So, boss received an unemployment claim notice. All my info is in there and accurate. Claim is starting 4/19
Illinois with their fuckwittery had their IDES system breached, never bothered to look into it too much, said it really only impacted 1099 folks, I assume this meant 1099 folks who filed claims. I am 1099 for another company. Did my identity get stolen? Am I gonna end up with a warrant for fraud claim? where else would they have gotten all the details, my SSN, my quarterly earnings, etc? Is this a normal scam the scammers are pulling?
