FWIW the Best-Tronics ones are very rugged, I’ve never had one wear out, and
they come with a long frame RJ11 plug that makes things a lot easier. But the
new SMs don’t need the adapter. They do however require some surgery on most
headphone extender cables because the jack in the SM is close to the edge and
the plug is usually too fat and you need to slice one side down.

Awhile back, Streakwave still had some of the Cambium ones in stock but
quantity now shows zero. Just as well because we always threw away the
headphones we just wanted the adapter cable. They were made for
Motorola/Cambium by Best-Tronics and they still have them on their website,
so maybe try there.

Keep in mind you don't need the adapter cable for 450b SMs.

For the Cambium SMs anyone know of a source for RJ11 to 2.5mm headphone
jack?
