Pfizer's stock jumped when they announced their vaccine, but
after listening to this podcast, I have my doubts about how
effective it will be in actual use. There are a couple of really
big caveats with it, the first being that it needs to be stored at
around -100° F. There are a whole bunch of logistics issues with
that one thing. A second issue is that you need a second
vaccination 20 days later. Immunity, if you get it supposedly
kicks in 10 days after the 2nd injection. Vaccinations that
require a "booster", or a 2nd injection at a specific interval
have a lower success rate in general.
Anyway, it's a 20 minute listen if you have the time.

The Moderna vaccine, by contrast, needs to be stored at -4° F,
and AFAIK does not require the booster. OTOH, we don't know what
effective rate it has either.
