I use them at home for places where I haven't run ethernet and don't
want to rely on WiFi.  They seem to need to be reset a couple of times a
year, but otherwise work well.

The load on the powerline gear is Netflix, etc.   My son was running
online college classes as well.

Also, I use a mix of Zyxel, TP-Link, and Mikrotik at the moment, so the
interoperability is pretty solid.
