Was Planes Trains and Automobiles a Thanksgiving movie or a Christmas movie?

Me and my sister used to watch that over and over. Good movie.

Mom and dad are watching Chevy chase marathon.

I used to spend every Thanksgiving night at my older sisters and black friday 
was christmas decoration day, I miss that alot. Not doing that is probably why 
I'm a dick now

I never quite understood why TV stations played The Wizard of Oz every year on 
Thanksgiving.  But apparently some people also listen to Alice’s Restaurant by 
Arlo Guthrie, which does at least peripherally involve Thanksgiving.
