Didn’t they just announce a recall for a fairly serious front end suspension problem?
Chuck’s experience of no problems ever is amazing. My 2014 Subaru has something like 118,000 miles on it and has had a couple wheel bearings replaced (covered by extended warranty) and the front control arm bushings replaced. Not sure being electric instead of gas would have prevented that. It also had an exhaust hanger break, I guess that wouldn’t have happened with an electric vehicle. Oh, there was also a recall on the floormats because some people had an uncontrolled acceleration problem and they couldn’t find a defect so they blamed it on floormats bunching up. And there was some kind of recall where they upgraded the engine firmware and checked for predetonation damage (didn’t find any). I consider these repairs routine for a car with >100,000 miles. Never a single problem seems stellar.
