They screwed us on our optitap premade as well. See if you can
find a DLX field install kit for ~$10. We got field install
optitap for $10 and will splice SC/APC on the other end (in which
case you'd splice LC-UPC).
For the record drop cables with LC is pretty weird and UPC is
really really weird.
Don't expect Commscope to get any better on lead times or accurate
ship dates.
