That sounds about right, We just finished completely rebuilding 2 sites
because of the traders installing new 6-14mhz 5-10kw shortwave antennas
on the towers we were on, and they caused us all kinds of Ethernet
interference. One of them makes the trackpad on my laptop stop working
inside the shelter when they're transmitting. When they switch to this
new fiber I'm sure it will all be abandoned in about 6 months.
Luckily the tower owner had our back, and told them they were not
allowed to transmit until our Ethernet problems were fixed.
