Yeah, MadIX doesn't have much going on.

I never bothered to try and figure it out either, but we have a connection to a
local IX, which I think is mostly Netflix traffic (I think Akamai is also on
there, but that's about all that's likely to be doing much), and that appears
to be accounting for roughly 30% of our overall bandwidth, so I'd tend to
agree.

I wonder that the ratios are. I would think Netflix would be more than the
other two. But I have never bothered to try to figure it out.

Blocking pornhub would be right up there.

Can you imagine how mucb further your bandwidrh would go without facebook,
netflix and pornhub traffic. Joyous day

Blocking FaceBook really sounds like an excellent business decision to me. The
only thing I can think of that might make your customers even happier, would be
to block Netflix!

if theyre willing to do this, competitor isnt the term i would use. I do
however encourage anyone within my networks footprint to immediately do this.
if its fringe to my footprint I would like a little notice because new leases
dont just pop up out of thin air

I believe the historically correct version of this is:

"I encourage all of my competitors to do [this]”

The question is who started it? It was originally on the Part-15 list. Chuck?,
Ken? I can’t recall.

I really wish all the providers around me would do this. I fully support them
doing this.

So you block stuff I like, I block you completely. That’s gonna make a lot of
friends.
Do I need to invoke Lent already on myself.

I am not sure if the provider's web page is correct but this certainly looks
like a very Historical Network with quite a decent coverage area in Northern
Idaho and Eastern Washington.
