Exactly...the SCADA manager for this small water company wired up some cameras 
without telling anyone...he knocked blowers off line with IP conflicts and 
noise from his McGivered wiring..here is a better picture... 
I have also attached a picture of a site where he did not install 
anything...see the difference.
We found issue, reported it, disconnected his cameras, submitted report 
...their IT support is going to re-terminate connectors and install proper POE 
injectors for cameras. 
Look at it this way...I made some decent money today...100% billable.

  We started to see packet loss and had some blowers shut down ..

  Ran some scans and picked up IPs we didn't recognize...found six new devices 
that didn't exist on network last week. 

  Chime in when you find it...
