we did free school internet, its a sad state of affairs that we currently
only have 3 total accounts, only one actively uses it. I think at the
height of it we had maybe 8 across 30 sites.

I think the reason parents opted to go without is because we tunnelled all
the traffic to the school district so they could police the traffic as they
saw fit.

If affordable internet for "needs" had the caveat of being non
entertainment (netflix and pornhub) there would be little to no demand. Its
a real shame that this is what the tax dollars actually get spent on and
theyre talking about defining the "need" as 100mbps
