I was reading about pasta the other night, i didnt realize that old italian
women will beat you for using a metal or marble rolling pin. apparently the
wood pins leave tiny indents in the pasta that the sauce will adhere to
better. I made a bunch of noodles last night with the marble one, it is
smoother, dont know that it will matter when it hits the boil though. May
do some salt free tonite just to see, but im still suspicious. its like the
lie that unsalted butter is as good as salted butter. blaspheme
