Oh, no. I'm blaming Ubiquiti. 

The problem here is two fold: 

1) People that shouldn't be operating networks were depending on Ubiquiti cloud 
and assumed protection. 
2) Ubiquiti fucked this up every way possible (how it happened, their reaction, 
why they reacted the way they did, etc.)
