Miller was the go to beer for long distance offshore racing for a long time.   Why?  Because you could freeze it then let it thaw and it still tasted the same.  Only beer that would do that trick..

From that list I've had the Two Hearted Ale and the Arrogant Bastard.  Both were alright if you like ale....which I do.

I thought I didn't like IPA because I'd only had the sour ones.  They seem to range from sour to fruity and I now find I like the fruity ones just fine.  I guess the "fruit" taste is from the type of hops they use.

Miller Lite is ok, actually pretty flavorful for a light beer, but it's a 4 drink minimum if I'm having those.  The pint cans of Miller High Life are my jam.

I've been trying this IPA stuff, it all tastes like lawnmower clippings when the dandelions or blooming, or like ball sweat and fruit. If I want fruit I'll get anapple, if I want ball sweat I'll go to caifornia. The first sip of sapporo tastes like it's going to be a light pants fruit, then it cleanses your tongue and the rest of the bottle is a little bitter/sour, but pleasant. It will get you drunk fast and packs a terrible hangover, so 4 is my limit on those. I prefer the black bottle.  I've really been digging the modelo negra though. I drink 8 to 12 beers when I'm drinking, 2 tylenol with the last beer and you're good. Doesnt sit heavy or leave you in the shitter the next day. I'm a miller lite guy cause I grew up stealing it from dads shop fridge. It will leave you in the shitter, but it's good project beer, you can run a table saw without a guard up to about 6, after that you need a guard and a first aid kit (black tape and paper towels)

I decided to look at overall rankings from beer advocate. Here is
their top 20. Of the ones listed I have had Pliny the Elder
(REALLY REALLY hard to get), Sculpin, Old Rasputin, Sierra Nevada

Of those Arrogant Bastard is my favorite, but the ones that are
most often in the fridge are Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and
    Torpedo Extra IPA.

This *beer* is so crisp & delivers a clean *IPA* taste. It
goes down exceptionally smooth with its medium-bodied
carbonation. This is by far in my opinion one of the best
*IPA's* out there, it's not to heavy, but it's definitely
full of flavor & a proper ABV.
