GSM vs. CDMA is pretty much dead. Everyone uses LTE or VoLTE anymore.

Just because it has a logo doesn't mean much. For $6 you can get 3 Tmobile sims from Twilio and create a plan under their IOT Programmable wireless. You can pay as you go or buy in chunks.
