Good movie on streaming, “The Inventor”. I think Theranos could have done it. They had the mechanics roughed out. I believe if they had different leadership on the tech side they could have released a limited ability machine. However being forced to put it in a too small box was a disaster from the get go. They upsized the box once but it still had tons of issues. Blood and reagent leakages. Cross contamination. But all solvable engineering issues. The boxes actually did do something.
