My inserters are not referenced to chassis ground at all with the POE.
So they would not be causing a problem.
But if the tower mounted gear is +48 and if it ties one side to ground, you
will short out your –48 supply assuming it grounds the + rtn lead.

Hey Chuck! Long time!
We are trying to figure out some stuff here with our DC plant. We are -48v on
the rectifiers, but as you know some WISP gear is +48 and other is floating.
What happens if I power radios using your POE inserters direct to the -48,
would I cause ground loops with tower mounted gear that is +48v? does the SS
circuit in the POE inserters grounds the (-) ?
