Sounds like a funny problem to have. To get to FB you need DNS, but if FB owns the DNS and it is broken, nobody can get to FB. And maybe FB can’t get to its own DNS... So a bear is chasing you, you climb a tree, crawl out on the limb and then cut it off behind you.
Some poor data center smart hands type of guy is walking miles of racks looking for that one special server and plugging into that one air gapped RJ45 to type in some magic numbers. I can’t reach their DNS servers. I do have routes to the networks their DNS servers are on, and tracert stops in one of their /16’s. Seems like their DNS is broken internally?
