One of those deals where the salesman tells everybody that “I gave you a lower price than ANYONE else gets so don’t tell anyone what you’re paying because they’ll complain and I’ll get in trouble and have to raise your prices” hoping that nobody will compare notes?

I don't believe the test results. Never seen a no-loss through walls before. I must have screwed-up. Both units were mounted at same place. A job I went to yesterday had a frontier router(now zipley) that was barely reaching a back-bedroom with -78db. The Calix gigaspire showed -60db in that room. The aircubes which I haven't had a chance to compare to a gigaspire yet we're hands down better than airrouters and a little better than the air-routers LR which I had thought were pretty good devices as they were better than tplinks. The sense of using a $300 unit to replace a new $27 unit makes none to me, but it does come with a fancy phone app. The ROI is over a year IMHO.
