How do you send an SMS from a computer to a phone? Doesn't there have to be an intermediary system in there somewhere, Be it Email or an API? Maybe DOD number would be the more correct term, the number that is sourced on the SMS message when it enters the mobile carrier network. It is their way of keeping spam down. Everyone who uses sms is going to have to do this. Anyone already gone through this? Talking to VI, it seems they're not even sure, but it's a VI requirement by Dec 15. The whole process seems confusing.
